Vor kurzem wurde bei einem Kunden von Edward Barder und bei Garry Mills eingebrochen und wertvolles Angelgerät gestohlen,
zum Teil unersätzliche Unikate.
Hier eine vorläufige Liste die von Edward Barder zur Verfügung gestellt wurde.
Edward und Garry bitten um Unterstützung!

Date Of Theft – Between Monday 6th and Thursday 9th November

A Reward of £5,000 will be paid to anyone who provides information that leads directly to the recovery of the stolen items listed below and the arrest of the thieves.

Ein Drittel davon ist sicherlich jedem Interessenten bekannt.
Dass die von jemandem geklaut wurden, der sie sich nur ins Stille Kämmerlein hängen will, glaube ich nicht...

Also bei mir am Hochrhein könnte ich bedenkenlos mit jeder dieser geklauten Ruten fischen gehen und keiner hätte eine Ahnung, was das ist. Darum werden sie wohl in meiner Gegend auch nicht angeboten werden.

Ein Hinweis, der vielleicht einigen bekannt ist. An gestohlenen Sachen kann nach deutschem Recht nie Eigentum erworben werden, egal wie gutgläubig der Erwerber ist.

Was macht man mit solchen Sachen? Evt identifizierbare Komponenten überarbeiten.

Dann gehen die Teile eben den Weg über die Niederlande, wo es genau diese Regelung nicht gibt.
Kauf dort ich unwissentlich was geklautes, isses meins. Mehrfach bei geklauten Motorrädern und -ersatzteilen erlebt.

Bei Ruten und KTM-Moppeds villeicht...;-)
Aber es sind in einer Nacht vor 15 Jahren mehrere HD's mit teuren Custom-Umbauten hier verschwunden und wurden von ihren Eigentümern in NL wieder gefunden. Es ging kein juristischer Weg an eine Rückgabe. Und die Versicherung hat nur die Basismoppeds bezahlt und nicht die 3-4x teuren Umbauten.

Ich denke, dass grade die Merkmale so eines Einzelstückes den Marktwert ausmachen. Was will man da ändern bzw. überarbeiten...immer ist der Wert futsch.

KTM war / ist gut, kommt aus Mattighofen/ Oberösterreich. Mein Vater ist neben dem Werksgelände aufgewachsen, mein Großvater hat dort gearbeitet.
